Hi! I’m Nate Walls. Cooking has always given me GREAT joy! I fell in love with cooking at the age of 6! I carried that love into the US Army where after basic training I learned a lot about being a man and a cook. I acquired the skill of culinary arts when I enrolled in cooking school at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. I started SecondHand Smoke in 2017. It's where down home southern barbecue, forward thinking, and smoked creativity meet. Part of the proceeds goes to Second Helping NWA, our non profit organization that helps the underserved community.

I have been in the NWA community for over 20 years. My plan is to continue to support the community with the food we love and share. I like to say “Where Old Fashioned BBQ Intersects With Community Service”.

My Mesquite Smoke

All of my meats are smoked with aged mesquite wood. I add special spices and love to make them true fan favorites.
